Well, this is my first time blogging so... I don't know.... haha.
Basically, I am going to use this whole blogging thing for the experiences I have in life and in my walk with the Lord.
About 7 weeks ago, one of my best friends, (and by far the longest friend I've ever had) Chrissy, took me with her to her church. (Even though I am in 8th grade, I went with her to the high school service. Hey, I am in 9th grade English!) The decision to go to Chino Valley Community Church that day changed my life! I've grown up a Christian, but something just wasn't there... And I didn't realize it until now. I never really liked going to church, and praying was a chore. My friendships were pretty weak, as well, and I didn't have many great or strong friendships.
Now I go to CVCC every Sunday and Wednesday, I have small group Tuesday nights (I am actually going tonight haha!) and I go to a lot of events and Service Projects! I have new, amazing friends! And yes, I still go to the high school services! And yes, they know I'm an 8th grader!
God has blessed me so much, and I am soooo happy that he has given me the opportunity to really change my life and turn it around! Jason is an amazing pastor, everyday the lessons and messages are just stuck in my head helping me get through the day! I love to go to church, pray, and read the best book in the world- The Bible! <------- (Don't understand life??? Read the directions!) It feels like I've been going to CVCC forever, like I thought it was 9 weeks? haha! Well, I am on my 7th week and I am soooo happy!
And I have Chrissy, my new friends, Jason, and GOD to thank for this! I love you guys!<3 xD
